It's pretty normal to be freaked out - it's a big change. Huge. But hey, look at it this way - less than two weeks until you get to meet ME! If that doesn't get you excited...well, why doesn't it, dammit!

The South is WONDERFUL. I spent a week in Georgia in 2005. It's very nice there and I would love to go back. I actually really want to go back to Washington D.C. and Williamsburg, VA sometime... I was there when I was 13 and loved it! Maybe that's suitable for an OCapalooza Southern-style?
I need to start saving!

I know D.C. isn't the "South" (it's mid-Atlantic, if I recall correctly), but it's within driving distance from North Carolina and Virginia, and it's also the home of a couple other OCers. We don't actually have many bloggers in the proper South, which is why I think D.C. would be a good (if hypothetical) future location for an OCapalooza.

but you should still head down here for some good 'ole Southern fun sometime!
